Comments: Not a whole lot to report, water is up. Clearing to party cloudy.
70's, some great Egrets have shown up but were gone when I went back through on
the way out of the bottoms.

Ensley Bottoms, Maxson Wastewater Lagoons(The Pits)/Earth Complex, Shelby, US-TN

Comments: Run through the bottoms. The Pits are full of water being moved
around. Last years hot spot western center lagoons have been bulldozed and now
only holding minimum rain water since drained. Some of the ducks hanging out
here.
115 Blk Bellied Wh Ducks hanging out in the fresh grass on the main N-S levee
road. Several pairs have broken off by themselves throughout the complex. No
shorebirds yet. Late this year.

Maynard Stiles North Treatment Plant, Shelby, US-TN

Comments: Clear to partly cloudy, 70's, Late afternoon trip to the North
Treatment Plant to see if anything had arived yet. North lagoon all but gone to
the weedy growth as it has been drained and they are starting to excavate the
material some puddles remain at the north end. Was at the north end that I saw
the first of two Solitary Sandpipers (FOS). A second Solitary Sandpiper and a
lone Least Sandpiper (FOS) were found on the water laden south lagoon.
Otherwise un eventfull and quiet visit.
