Spent yesterday morning on Sharps & headed to Gupton in the afternoon.
Highlights on Sharps were Rose-breasted & Blue Grosbeak. We also had several
Cerulean Warblers singing.
Gupton Wetlands in the afternoon was extremely productive. As I pulled in two
mature Bald eagles were perched in a tree just outside of the parking lot. We
also had great looks at the American Bittern, Least Bittern, Virginia Rail, &
Sora. I had at least two Prairie Warblers singing in the scrub as well.
Both places were very birdie & it should only get better.
Best Regards, Jimmy Tucker
