Got a late start today at Sharp's Ridge (Knoxville) but had good
activity at the top of the hill east of the ranger house parking (across
road from a large tower) and saw or heard many first-of-season birds.
Stan Wallace and I had a brief look at a very grayish mystery bird. I
saw blurry breast streaking and thought maybe a drab Orange-crowned
warbler but he thought the beak was thicker so possibly Warbling vireo.
Not sure.
