The Chattanooga Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society invites interested parties to attend our regular monthly meeting on Thursday Sept. 14 at 7:00pm. Nashville TOS member and retired State Librarian and Archivist, Ed Gleaves will speak on "The Literature of Birding". Ed will present an overview of birding field guides and other birding literature and art from Audubon to Peterson to Sibley. Included will be samples of the volumes that are discussed. Bill Haley will make a short Bird-of-the-Month presentation on the Broad-winged Hawk prior to the main speaker.
