The Scissor-tailed Flycatchers that had previously been reported from the
high school athletic fields in South Pittsburg (Marion County) were still
present as of yesterday afternoon (June 12th). At least one bird was still
on the nest (in a light tower), while a second bird flycatched from one of
the field goals. These birds are easily visible along Railroad Avenue.
