Saw two scaup at the pond on the Pellissippi State Campus in West Knox County, Tenn. Friday afternoon (around 2:30). Also about 100 Canada geese and some really adorable young muscovies (11 of them) that keep approaching me (made me wish I had some bird seed in my pocket). Went back this morning around 9:45 and one of the scaup was still there. I think it's a greater based mostly on view of it resting. Its head had only a slight bump (crown?) on the side. Only 24 Canada geese; the muscovies were asleep on the far bank.
