Hi all,

I have had a YB Sapsucker all winter who feeds heavily
on Martha's super suet recipe (posted on this site
last year). Recently I have discovered some of his
handiwork in several hickory trees. There are so many
hickories I can't keep track. Anyway, yesterday I saw
a Titmouse visit one of the holes to get a quick
energy boost.
First for yesterday-Zebra swallowtail outside on the
front porch not far from the Phoebe's nest (same
location as last year). No eggs yet. I stand on a
chair and use a mirror to see inside.

Life is good,

Anna Varney
