Rutherford, Coffee, and Grundy Counties
Travleing

Arrived with Dad at the site where the Painting Buntings were found the
other day at 6am stayed until 7am, saw Chats, Brown Thrashers, Indigo
Buntings, Goldfinch, Common yellowthroat, rabbit, red fox, etc but no
Painted Buntings.

Next headed down to AEDC in Coffee Co. to look for Swallow-tailed Kite that
had been reported. Road on the airforce base was closed so could not get to
the area where the bird was seen. Road closed probably because of the
Bonaroooooo Concert.

So, we headed down to Grundy County and picked up a few woodland birds.

Redeyed, White-eyed, and Yellow-throated Vireos
Hooded Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
N. Parula
Wood Thrush
Cliff Swallows
Summer Tanager

You get the idea. Any morning of birding is a good day. We had a good time.

Good Birding
