Ruth is missed! I remember that humor, the clear level headed thinking and the
fact that she never gave a thought to not saying anything that she believed
needed to be said. Thanks for the photos which focus our memories of the good
days and soften our feelings of loss by reminding us of her infectious positive
spirit. I also remember that yellow headed blackbird which you could view from
the parking lot during a spring meeting. Danny Gaddy

Subject: [TN-Bird] Ruth Luckado passing
All TOS members,
I got sad word this morning of the passing of Ruth Luckado. Long-time loyal
member of TOS and the Highland Rim/ Manchester Chapter.
Many of you will remember, as I do, Ruth's wry sense of humor, always sharply
on point in any situation! And her assortment of three-legged stools, etc., a
birding accessory more of us use these days.
See photos of Ruth (2nd from right, and perched on stool) and other members at
Memphis TOS state meeting May 2006. Such a great character! She will be missed.
