We had two male Ruby-throated Hummingbirds arrive late Sunday afternoon.
That is a little later than the April 1st arrival times in the past. So far
they are eating peacefully and neither is attacking or dominating the one
feeder. We keep wondering when the White-throated Sparrows and Dark-eyed
Juncos plan to leave as we have had many of them all winter. About the only
unusual birds have been at least 3 male and 3 female Purple Finches that
have been here for months. They normally don't show up at our feeders
unless there is snow on the ground but we have enjoyed seeing them daily.
