Tn-birders, Dollyann and I went to Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery in Anderson Co. this morning and found the 4 Ross's Geese reported yesterday. They were feeding in the rear part of the hatchery with some Canada Geese. Also present were 15 pectoral Sandpipers, 3 American Pipits, 13 Ring-billed Gulls, 11 Lesser Scaup, and some Tree Swallows. Last night we saw 2 American Woodcocks near the Oliver Springs airport, also in Anderson County. They flew overhead, but were not displaying or calling. Great birding to all, Ron Hoff and Dollyann Myers Clinton, Tn. =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Topographical Maps located at http://topozone.com/find.asp * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Tennessee Ornithological Society web site at http://www.tnbirds.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net Owner: Wallace Coffey, Bristol, TN jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx (423) 764-3958 =========================================================
