Rack Cross points out a nice find to his field trip party on Roan
Mountain during the TOS/VSO Joint Meeting held last weekend
at Johnson City, TN. A turnout of 184 birders from the Atlantic
to the Mississippi River and many states participated in field trips
that found 118 species. It was a state record participation for
both TOS and VSO for any state meeting. The historic gathering
was hosted by the Bristol Bird Club (Photo by Brenda Tekin
of Charlottesville, VA)
