Tennessee Birders, Bewick's Wren Thryomanes bewickii has declined rapidly in Tennessee during recent years, but has been reported on the TN-bird listserve on a number of occasions in the past year. If you have observed Bewick's Wren recently, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you with a date, location, and short description of habitat where it was observed (such as... in weedy fencerow near old farmyard surrounded by cornfields in a sparsely wooded landscape). Any help with this search will be greatly appreciated. Mike Michael Roedel, State Ornithologist Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency P.O.
