[TN-Bird] "Real" Canada Goose at Cove Lake State Park

Late report - while birding at Cove Lake in southwest Campbell County on
2/28/10 I observed and photographed a Snow Goose and a Canada Goose with an
orange neck collar & white alpha/numeric "A7R4". This collared goose has been
reported on before (Chuck Nicholson 1/27/08; others?), and is undoubtedly the
same bird observed by Harold Howell & son on 12/29/09 (and reported by Harold
on 1/3/10).
Info from Bird Banding Lab on "A7R4":
adult male banded 7/8/99
banding location 40 mi east of Moosonee, Ontario
legband # 0908-27275
Other birds seen at Cove Lake on 2/28/10 include American Wigeon &
Redhead.
