Rankin Bottoms, Cocke Co., TN
Lake level 985.29
Scoping from Shore

Most of the shorebird species seen during the last week were present this
morning, with the addition of Sanderling. The falling lake level has uncovered
an increased number of mudflats and better access to the shoreline has improved
the opportunities for scoping from shore. Still, one of the best concentrations
of shorebirds is across the embayment from the coal tipple at a distance
requiring high scope magnification.
