Radnor Lake State Natural Area Davidson Co. I decided to see if the cooler temps had brought in any birds, and I wasn't disappointed. Some of the highlights include 17 species of warblers with point-blank looks at Cerulean and Worm-eating on Ganier Ridge, 3 Red-headed Woodpeckers together on the same dead snag near Grassy Point, and 4 swallow species perched together on some dead limbs sticking out of the lake (Tree, Rough-winged, Barn, and Cliff). I also had a lone Purple Finch along Otter Creek Rd near the dam. I ended the morning with 60 species including several FOY's for me. Full list below.
