Fewer water birds in general, but still an interesting mix
Gadwall 2
Canvasback 8
Ring-necked Duck 15
distant mixed flock of ducks with scaup etc. 50
Bufflehead 2
Com. Goldeneye 2 females
Ruddy Duck 10
Horned Grebe - only 30, numbers down and some turning to breeding plumage
Com. Loon - only 15, some calling
RED-THROATED Loon 1, all white neck, slender and upturned bill, plus three
other small loons off to the east in bad light
Wilson's Snipe 1
Bonaparte's Gull 25
Ring-billed Gull 10
Herring Gull 15
plus one ALL WHITE gull, possibly the Iceland Gull found last month by
Chloe and Nolan Walker at the Rutherford Co landfill?? Two very grainy
