Best bird of the day on the rain-delayed Priest Lake section of the
Nashville Spring Count was a fly-over of Peregrine Falcon, at Cook Rec.
Area. It was not re-found.
Also notable for this count was Red-headed Woodpecker, calling on Anderson
Rd. Rec. Area trail.
It was a great morning to be out, with Sarah Scott and Jim Thoman, and it
was a good decision to count Sunday instead of Saturday, as our group also
tallied 83 species.
