About 3:30 today (Dec. 27) I got a good look at an Eastern Wood-Pewee on a
bridge hand rail at The Honors golf course in Ooltewah. It had distinct wing
bars, a light colored chest and did not pump it's tail. My dog scared it so I
got the watch it fly and land on the bridge again and it never pumped it's
tail. I had seen one on Nov. 16 in the same area. I am not saying it is the
same bird as I checked for it a few days after seeing one in November. Still I
guess it could be the same bird. I did not have my camera with me. I will check
with a camera tomorrow in case I see it again.
