[TN-Bird] Poole Knobs and Fate Sanders

Poole Knob is a bust for shorebirds as Scott said.  If you need Indigo  
Bunting, or Common Yellow Throat, or Prarie Warbler, good place to go.  Did  
see a Great Egret at the end of the big (dry pond) where you can look onto 
Percy  Priest Lake and quite a few Great Blue Herons.  Best bird was a 
beautiful  Adult American Kestrel, never tire of this bird probably because it 
was 
the  first bird I identified on my Grandpa's farm.
 
Fate Sanders:  Island was bare.  About 20 Black Vultures sitting  on the 
ground around the Marina.  GB Herons, 1 Black-crowned nightheron,  purple 
martins and barn swallows.  
 
Hope the rain keeps bringing in the shorebirds.
