I have a hummer still here at our feeders...it has been coming regularly since mid October, when the others left. I have been feeding hummers for years...but... I have not had one stay this late in the season. It appears to be a female ruby throated. We have had some really cold mornings below 25 degrees...my question is...if it stays on...What do I need to do to help it survive the cold winter? I know that I must keep the feeder water from freezing...Is there anything else I can do? Thanks for your help. Linda Lynch Fentress Co.
