Sunday June 27, 2004

At Carver's Gap (Roan Mountain) this afternoon, there were 15-20 Pine
Siskins working through the trees on both sides of the gap. Three Red
Crossbills were also observed (on the NC side).

A Great Blue Heron seemed quite out-of-place, as it glided overhead through
the gap.
