(Warning: this does not pertain directly to birding in either TN or KY; delete accordingly) If anyone is interested, I've posted a lot of shots from a whirlwind solo trip earlier this week to south FL. I covered 3400 miles in a little over 5 days, with 4 of these days being full days of birding. The Wheateater in Foley, AL and Loggerhead Kingbird in Key West were the main reasons for the trip, as well as clean-up shots at a couple of other birds. My one previous trip to FL was before I started attempting photography, so much of this trip was spent running down birds I'd seen before, but not photographed. This gallery is arranged chronologically vs. taxonomically, and the captions basically provided a running narrative of the trip. Some species were photographed more than once, and appear at different times. The quality of the shots vary greatly, though most turned out better than I expected, and some poor shots of interesting species are included. The gallery is at: http://www.pbase.com/mctodd/florida_trip_07 As usual, double-clicking any image will enlarge it, and the previous and next tabs on the page can be used to navigate among shots. There are about 3 pages of shots in total. Good Birding!!
