[TN-Bird] Photo galleries online (birds)

For anyone that is interested:

I have been working on a new website to display photo galleries for a
little while now, as I ran out of room on my Bellsouth site. I didn't
want to have to remove older photos to put new ones on the site. It has
taken me quite a while to get the new site somewhat up and running, but
I now have extensive galleries from my trips last year to Texas, North
Carolina, and Hawaii. These are some of the same photos from my old
site, though with a lot of new ones (different plumages, angles, etc.) I
didn't include before due to trying to conserve space. The photos are
larger than my old site, and I think much easier to see, but I tried to
compromise and keep them from being too large a file size if you are
still on a dial-up connection. As usual, my photos are nothing like what
you will see on a lot of sites, I just try for decent ID shots of the
various species, and if I get a good shot along the way so be it!

I currently have about 160 photos spread amongst 4 galleries. The only
totally new gallery is one depicting landscapes, etc. from my trip to
Kauai. That island is too beautiful to concentrate solely on the birds!
I will be continuing to add galleries as time allows so that I can
totally do away with my old site. I hope to get some photos of recent TN
(and adjoining states) birds on there soon. When looking at the photos,
they should appear significantly larger than the small ones on my old
site, if not make sure that below the image and caption the size is set
on 'original'. If you are having slow downloads, going to the 'medium'
size will degrade the image a little, but should markedly improve your
download speed.
