This morning at Radnor Lake a few of us saw a Peregrine perched in a dead
tree at Grassy Point. It then took off and chased a kingfisher all over the
lake, just above the surface. The kingfisher finally dipped down to the
water and evaded it.
BTW, it seems to me that of all the birders that observed the Sabine's Gull
at Old Hickory Lake over the weekend, at least one should have reported it
on tn-bird. Isn't that what the Tennessee Listserve is for?
