One more bird to add to my original post... we also had at least 3 Greater
Scaup in a raft of Lessers at Fate Sanders Marina. I probably wouldn't have
been able to ID them in the water, but some helpful duck hunters flushed them
giving good looks at the wings.

Percy Priest birding
Rutherford/Davidson county1-6-18
My Mom and I spent Saturday birding around our end of Percy Priest. Here's a
quick report of our day.
We birded Lamar Hill BR, Fate Sanders Marina, Bryant's Grove, Vivrette Creek
BR, Seven Points Rec Area, and Cook's Rec Area. We tallied 54 species.
Highlights included: -17 species of waterfowl (if you include Grebes, loons,
and cormorants)-14 Canvasback at Fate Sanders Marina -7 Red-breasted Mergansers
and 38 American White Pelicans at Bryant's Grove
