We didn't want to discourage anyone from looking but David Trently
and I spent the better part of Saturday in Chattanooga looking for
the Brown Pelican all along Chickamauga Lake without success. We
had his favorite perching buoy in sight most of the time from
various locations.

We made a run by Standifer Gap Marsh (also in Chattanooga) where
we heard two Virginia Rails and saw and photographed one of them.
