I birded Radnor yesterday afternoon, and had good looks at a KENTUCKY WARBLER near the bridge at the entrance of the Lake Trail on the Franklin Road side, a HOODED WARBLER at the Spillway, and several other species of warblers. Was within 8ft of a SCARLET TANAGER, which was a treat! There were many PALM WARBLERS, often mixed in with the many YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS. I don't recall ever seeing so many Palm warblers there but I haven't birded Radnor systematically through the years. Is it normal to see so many Palms, or does it vary from year to year?
