[TN-Bird] PAINTED BUNTING

There is a male PAINTED BUNTING visiting the yard of Margarite Fridl at 1727 
Skyline Drive in East Brainerd.  I observed the bird on Wednesday 4/9 at 12:30 
PM for about 5 minutes.  I received permission for other birders to visit the 
location today.  To reach Skyline Drive, exit I-75 at the East Brainerd East 
exit (#3)and go to North Concord (1st road at traffic light) and turn left.  
Follow N. Concord for ~ 1 mile and turn right on Palermo and go to the top of 
the hill.  This will be Skline Drive.  Turn right and 1727 will be the 1st 
house on the right.  Park in the driveway (DO NOT BLOCK GARAGE) and stand at 
the end of the driveway and look and listen for the bird.  DO NOT ROAM AROUND 
THE YARD as the bird stays in the vegatation in the back yard.  The bird has 
been present since last weekend.  This is probably the 3rd Hamilton County 
record. Good luck.

For local birders in the Chattanooga area, if around Highland Plaza keep your 
eyes open for a possible Northern Goshawk.  (per Dan Jacobson 4/9).
