In the rain this morning I was surprised to see a Tree Swallow on the
bridge railing of the large lake at The Honors golf course in Ooltewah. It flew
as I passed by very close then come back to almost the same spot. I know they
have been seen in every month of the year somewhere in the state. However this
beats the previous late date of Nov. 5 in 2006 for me at The Honors
