Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.

The birds were very active the last two mornings with this cold front
moving through. Fourteen warbler species were seen yesterday, plus two
female Northern Shovelers. Twelve warblers today, plus a wonderful look at
an Olive-sided Flycatcher which Mike Smith spotted. It was perched and
flycatching from a dead snag at the top of the hill behind the ranger
residence on the road to the Education Center. He also had a Gray-cheeked
Thrush among the many Swainson's. We had a few Baltimore Orioles and one
Scarlet Tanager.
