Old Hickory Lake & Radnor Lake, Davidson Co. TN I ran into Phillip Casteel and Ken Oeser at Snow Bunting Peninsula this morning around 7:00 a.m.; we were all interested to see if the rains brought in any birds. There was very little in the way of shorebirds (1 Least and 6 Spotted Sandpipers), but we did have 1 Common Tern mixed in with 5 Forster's, and a fly-by Osprey. We also had a single Savannah Sparrow along the rocky shore. Once the rain eased up, I headed over to Radnor, and found a good number of migrants including 2 Philadelphia Vireos and 20 species of warbler. Most of the birds were along the Lake trail between the spillway and Long Bridge as well as on Ganier Ridge.
