Thanks Andy,
Caution is definitely advised, it was a bit harrowing driving through the water
on my way out. There were a couple of stalled cars already, so high clearance
is definitely needed at the moment.

I just tried to check out Snow Bunting peninsula to see if I could relocate
some of the shorebirds Michael saw earlier. The flooding at Burnett/Swinging
Bridge was more than I was willing to test with my car. Good luck to those who
are braver than me (or have bigger vehicles)!

Sitting at Snow Bunting peninsula (North Nashville) in the rain at the moment,
and just had a large flack of shorebirds fly over. Mostly Pectoral but also at
least 2 Ruddy Turnstones, yellowlegs, possible Stilt Sandpipers, and some peeps.
Unfortunately they flew around the point several times, but never landed.
Also Black, Forsters, and Caspian Terns.
