I received the following email a few days ago through the TOS website, =
along
with a couple photos. One photo, taken fairly close up, shows about 10
nests and some of them have Great Blue Herons on them. The photo also =
shows
a couple cormorants close to but not on the nests. The second photo, =
from
farther away, shows at least 50 nests. If anyone wants to see the =
photos,
let me know and I will forward them.

Old Hickory Lake Nashville area. There is a big rookery on a tiny =
island
on Drake's Creek just past where it feeds in to Old Hickory Lake. This =
is
on the north, or Hendersonville side of the lake. Lots of Great Blues,
Night Herons, cormorants, and I saw about 4 all white large heron type =
birds
(Great Egret?? yellow beak, haven't seen them on Old Hickory before).
