Yesterday evening (2/24) around 5:30pm I observed 34 Northern Harriers at o=
ne time spread out over a large field. A majority of the field had been bur=
ned the day before as a part of our native grass management. Some were perc=
hed on the blackened ground, which made them easier to see, but most were f=
lying around. There were probably more than 34 harriers, but this was all I=
was able to count and know for sure that I wasn=E2=80=99t double counting.=
