TN-birders:
One week from this Saturday, on Dec. 12, Delta Wind Birds will offer it's
annual North Delta Winter Birding field trip. On this guided field trip through
the northern Mississippi Delta, focusing on Panola and Tunica Counties, we’ll
seek local winter specialties that have recently arrived, including Sandhill
Cranes, hopefully Sprague’s Pipit (which has wintered in the same spot the last
3 years), large flocks of Snow and Ross’s Geese, Brewer's Blackbirds, Eastern
vs. Western Meadowlarks, Lapland Longspurs, and Short-eared Owls.

For more details and to register, visit this website:

As usual, all proceeds from registration will support Delta Wind Birds' efforts
to foster habitat in the Delta for migratory shorebirds.

Good birding,
