David Hanni, recently-appointed Bird Conservation coordinator for the Tennessee
Wildlife Resources Agency, will present the August Nature at Noontime program.
The program will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6, from noon-1 p.m. at the TWRA's
Region II Ray Bell Building located in the Ellington Agriculture Complex.
Mr. Hanni joined the TWRA from Colorado where he had served as the Director of
the Science Division for the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory for the past 10
years.
He helped develop large scale bird monitoring programs through the Rocky
Mountains and Great Plains regions. He will discuss potential future directions
of bird conservation.
Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature at Noontime is held
the first Thursday of each month with the exception of July. TWRA Nature at
Noontime presentations are about natural resources related topics and last
about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch
hour. Contact Don King at 615 781-6502 or by e-mail at
