I am happy to say that our monthly NTOS meetings are back!!
Please join the Nashville chapter of TOS for our monthly meeting on May 20
at the Radnor Lake State Park visitor's center, 1160 Otter Creek Road. We
will gather at 7:00 and the meeting will start at 7:15.
This month's program is "Costa Rica Tropical Birding in the Age of Corona"
presented by Graham Gerdeman, Mike Smith and Frank Fekel. In early March
2020, Graham, Mike and Frank set out on a birding adventure in Costa Rica,
little knowing that their lives would soon be upended by the pandemic. From
the highs of having epic hotspots nearly to themselves to the lows of closed
hotels and national parks, they will recount their unique journey which
included an amazing 450 species of birds.
We recommend bringing a mask to the meeting, where we will assess everyone's
comfort level. As always, the public is welcome.
