Saturday, October 11 - Ellington Agricultural Center, Davidson Co.

We'll bird Ellington's woods, fields and streams for fall migrants and any
early winter residents. Birding will be done from paved, mulched and grassy
trails, including some hills. This trip will last just the morning. Meet at
the gravel lot (iris garden parking lot) immediately to the right of the
Hogan Rd. entrance at 7:00 A.M. From I-65, south of downtown, take the
Harding
Pl. exit, east bound. Just past the railroad overpass, turn right at the stop
light beyond the freeway (Trousdale). Follow Trousdale 1 mile. Turn left
onto Hogan Rd.. Follow Hogan to a "T" intersection with Marchant Rd.
Continue
straight into Ellington Agricultural Center, make an immediate right. The
entrance to the parking lot is on the right, before you start up the hill.
