If you are in the Nashville area this Thursday, August 18th, you are
invited to join us at Radnor Lake State Natural Area, 1160 Otter Creek Rd,
Nashville at 7:00 p.m. for the monthly meeting of the Nashville Chapter of
the Tennessee Ornithological Society. We'll gather at 7:00 p.m. and the
meeting will start at 7:15 p.m.
This month Tennessee Bluebird Society President Chuck James will travel
from Knoxville to share with us a wealth of information on why Bluebirds
struggle to survive, the various species and their range, how to host
Bluebirds in your yard with nesting boxes, and so much more. The Tennessee
Bluebird Society is one of the newest bird conservation groups in Tennessee
and certainly great ally of TOS. Chuck will answer all your questions
about some of the most beautiful year-round birds we can observe.
