Greetings!
Please join the Nashville chapter of TOS for our monthly meeting on Feb 17
at the Radnor Lake State Park visitor's center, 1160 Otter Creek Road. We
will gather at 7:00 and the meeting will start at 7:15.
Chris Sloan will present our February program on Southern Ecuador, a place
that holds a host of charismatic, legendary, and near-mythical birds, such
as the Jocotoco Antpitta, discovered in 1996, the Blue-throated Hillstar,
discovered in 2017, the endangered El Oro Parakeet, and the poorly-known but
spectacular Orange-throated Tanager, which was formerly only known from an
inaccessible site in Peru. Chris will tell stories and show pictures from a
2019 trip to see these amazing birds, and many more.
.
As always, the public is welcome. If you are unvaccinated, we ask that you
consider wearing a mask.
We hope you can join us!
