[TN-Bird] NEW YARD BIRD: Red-breasted nuthatch!!! (Kingston [Roane Co])

On the 23rd, I wondered why one of my nuthatches was missing its tailfeathers.
On the 24th, I wondered why it also looked so small. Then on Christmas, I
finally got a good look at it from the side and realized I had my yard's first
Sitta canadensis with its sassy little wren-butt and sporty black eyestripe ~~~
WOO HOO!! Amazingly tame, too; let me stand within about 9 feet of it as it ate
suet.

Merry Christmas to me!
