5-6-06 Radnor Lake Davidson Co. During the TOS State Meeting field trip to Radnor Lake this morning, we had a Mourning Warbler. It was seen first in the brush to the left of the ranger's house at the dam as you're facing the front of the house. Then it flew across the gravel road to the lakeside and worked its way toward the point. Other highlights were 17 warbler species including a Brewster's Warbler, Cape May, Bay-breasted, a very close Prothonotary, Canada Warbler, several Philadelphia Vireos, Barred Owl, and great looks at many thrushes. Thanks to all the great eyes and ears.
