TN birders,

From 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Cove Lake St Pk Campbell County , TN
(N. of Knoxville) I had quite a few good birds. The Willows and
thickets in the middle of the park held a nice MOURNING WARBLER, Chat,
Yellow Warbler , 6 Common YT Warblers, A Tennessee Warbler and a
Northern Waterthrush.
First fall PALM WARBLERS were everywhere- 55+. Most were feeding on the
ground under the Pine and Sycamore Trees.
4 FORESTER TERNS were on the lake as well as a couple Pied-Bill Grebers
have come in this week. Black Crowned Night Herons were near the overlook
tower.
I also found 56 Blue Winged Teal in a pond behind the National Guard
Armory in Jacksboro, TN. apx. 5 miles from the lake.
20+ Hummingbirds were feeding around the lake on Jewelweed.
