Greetings All,
Since 10PM last night I've posted three new
journal entries from Jim Danzenbaker's trip to South America, the
Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and Antarctica to the BirdFellow.com
online journal. We've gotten a little behind due to an e-mail problem,
so I have three daily entries that have all been posted over the past
24 hours. Two more entries are in the pipeline and these will appear
over the next 18 hours. I still have two more to put up to get us all
caught up.

Recent entries recount visits to the world's
largest Black-browed Albatross colony on Steeple Jason Island in the
Falklands, open ocean seabirding, and the first day in South Georgia.
Jim is traveling aboard the "Polar Star" as the onboard seabird expert
with Cheesmans' Ecology Safaris. The Cheesmans (www.cheesemans.com)
have been running annual tours to this corner of the world for many
years, offering a comprehensive exploration of the region's wildlife
and geography. Jim has been going on these trips since 1998, so it is a
privilege to offer his excellent bird-focused accounts from this tour.
