People have been asking me if there are still shorebirds at Camp Jordan. Probably not, they were leaving on Monday after the weather cleared, they are usually only there during and just after bad weather. Yesterday evening I had a nice movement of migrants (maybe some post-breeding dispersal birds also) at my residence near Cravens House on Lookout Mountain, Hamilton County. Highlights included: 1 Canada Warbler 2 Prairie Warblers 1 American Redstart 2 Black and White Warblers 3 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers 1 Acadian Flycatcher 2 Eastern Wood Peewee Kevin Calhoon Assistant Curator of Forests Tennessee Aquarium 423-785-4070
