December is the month for Christmas Bird Counts and the Memphis chapter is
sponsoring four this month, including one just across the river in
Arkansas.
This is the 114th year for the CBC, the world's longest running Citizen
Science survey. Email me off list to be put in touch with the count
leader(s) for more detailed information and directions.

Sun., Dec. 15 - Memphis Christmas Count
Wed., Dec. 18 - Chapter meeting at 7 p.m., St. George's Episcopal Church,
2425 S. Germantown Rd., Germantown, TN. TOS Member Sheila Bentley presents
"Jewel Box of Africa: Birds of South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe." Light
refreshments served.
