[TN-Bird] Maury County water bird spots, 3/26/07

Three quick stops at waterfowl/shorebird spots in the western parts
of Maury County on Monday (3/26/07): Booker Farm Road, Solutia ponds
off Monsanto road plus the Robert's Bend Road Hogwallow, and Arrow
Lake. Totals for water birds were:
Canada Goose 31
Wood Duck 9
Mallard 2
Blue-winged Teal 8
Green-winged Teal 13
Ring-necked Duck 13
Lesser Scaup 10
Pied-billed Grebe 2
Horned Grebe 1 (Arrow Lake, coming in to breeding plumage)
Double-crested Cormorant 2
Great Blue Heron 5
American Coot 10
Killdeer 3
Wilson's Snipe 10
No transient shorebirds at all.
