The MacGillivray's Warbler at Radnor Lake, Nashville, was very active this Monday morning in front of the ranger's house and in the spillway area. Mike O'Malley of Clarksville got a great digital photo of the bird and will try to post it tonight. After I watched the bird with Gwen and Dennis Harris of Chattanooga about 9:30 at the point, it flew across the water north to the lake trail. We followed it down the lake trail while it was along the shore line all the way to the next big clearing before you get to the bridge with all the cane around it. I'd never seen it on that side of the lake before. Maybe that's where it has been going when we don't see it for a while. Sneaky little thing.
