Friday, October 10, 2002 6:30 pm Jeff Wilson just called and he had found 3 Sooty Terns at Rocky Point near Pace Point on the Tennessee River / KY Lake in Henry County. He also had a large, dark bird that was probablt a jaeger chasing a flock of terns. He said that terns and gulls were all over the place. He also had a Franklin's Gull. He plans to be in the area tomorrow. I'm leaving in the morning to go up and join him. Anyone wishing to contact Jeff can try him on his cell phone @ 901-487-8521. Good birding, Mark Greene Trenton, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Topographical Maps located at http://topozone.com/find.asp * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Tennessee Ornithological Society web site at http://www.tnbirds.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net Owner: Wallace Coffey, Bristol, TN jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx (423) 764-3958 =========================================================
